We are living in ‘The Warriors,’ people

Seats are a hot commodity on this subway.

A flaming heap was discovered burning on an F train seat at the Second Avenue station early Sunday, officials said.

“Ahh, New York,” wrote Stephen Santayana on Twitter and Instagram, along with an 11-second clip of the blaze, which officials could not immediately explain.

Cinders can be seen scattered on the floor, as what appears to be a coat or backpack burns away on the seat near a door opposite the platform.

Santayana said he was stumped as to what caused the burn.

“Just whipped my phone out like everyone else,” he wrote on Instagram.

The fire was discovered at 2:30 a.m. and FDNY responded, according to MTA spokesman Shams Tarek. The MTA tweeted that service resumed at 2:56 a.m.

The train was taken to a yard, according to Tarek.
