Two more women accuse Al Franken of groping

Two more women have reportedly accused Senator Al Franken of groping them during campaign events nearly a decade ago.

The women told The Huffington Post that the Minnesota democrat grabbed their buttocks while taking photos — and allegedly asked one of them to join him in the bathroom.

One of the accusers said he groped her while they posed for a photo after a event hosted by the Minnesota Women’s Political Caucus in 2007.

The second woman said that the former SNL star “cupped her butt” at a 2008 Democratic fundraiser in Minneapolis.

“I shook his hand, and he put his arm around my waist and held it there,” the second woman said. “Then he moved it lower and cupped my butt.”

She told the website that Franken then suggested the two visit the bathroom together.

In a response to the Huffington Post, Franken said “it’s difficult to respond to anonymous accusers, and I don’t remember those campaign events.”

Franken, however, “categorically” denied inviting a woman to join him in the bathroom.

The latest allegations came after Leeann Tweeden went public last week to detail how Franken had kissed and groped her during a 2006 USO tour.

Also on Monday, Lindsay Menz accused Franken of groping her at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010.
