Broncos receiver lied about child’s birth to miss practice and party: wife

Emmanuel Sanders’ divorce saga has taken another bizarre turn.

Gabriella Sanders, the soon-to-be ex-wife of the Broncos receiver, claims Sanders lied to Broncos brass about heading to Houston for the birth of their second child in order to miss a practice.

“It was a lie so he could go out partying,” she claims in court documents obtained by TMZ.

Gabriella also alleges Sanders spent thousands of dollars on the other women in his life.

“When he’s not playing football on the field, he ‘plays the field’ with numerous women [with] whom he is or has committed adultery,” she says, adding Sanders shelled out “thousands upon thousands of dollars on girlfriends and wasting the community estate, even purchasing a vehicle for one of his illicit affairs.”

While Gabriella originally filed for divorce in October after nearly three years of marriage, it appeared the couple had reconciled in December following the birth of their daughter, Zoie. Taking to Instagram, Sanders shared a family shot with the caption, “Christmas came early for us this year #blessed.”

A judge originally granted a temporary restraining order to Gabriella, giving Sanders “limited” access to their children. Gabriella also requested an undisclosed amount for child support.

Sanders signed a $33 million contract extension with the Broncos in September.
