Nursing home worker fired for giving lap dance to elderly man with dementia

An Ohio nursing home worker was caught on video as she flashed a 100-year-old dementia sufferer and performed a sexually provocative act for him, officials said.

Another employee at The Commons of Providence in Sandusky recorded Brittany L. Fultz, 26, making a lewd advance toward the male resident, police Detective Anthony Bath told the Sandusky Register.

“I can show you new things, I can show you new things,” Fultz can be heard saying on the video, FOX8 TV reported

The footage also allegedly shows Fultz pulling down her pants and “mooning” the elderly resident.

Bath, who likened the advance to a lap dance, said the man indicated that he was not interested in Fultz’s actions.

“It’s disturbing,” Bath told FOX8. “She is touching him. This was not something he wanted.”

The other employee, a 27-year-old woman, notified a supervisor about the incident on Feb. 12, according to Bath and Staci Lehmkuhl, executive director of Providence Care Centers.

Lehmkuhl said Providence Care Centers reported the incident to police and the Ohio Department of Health.

Fultz was placed on administrative leave and has since been let go, Lehmkuhl told the paper. The woman who reported the incident from early December was not charged, Bath said. She also no longer works at the nursing home.

“We are cooperating with local police who are handling the investigation, and we will not comment further about the ongoing investigation,” Lehmkuhl said in a statement.

Fultz was charged with gross sexual imposition, a felony, according to jail records.
