Latest Russian hacking threat: Planting kiddie porn

Russian hackers may try to frame Americans by planting child porn on their computers, according to a new report.

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee that he “wouldn’t put it past” the Russian hackers to download kiddie porn on US hard drives.

Clapper made the shocking statement at a Tuesday hearing about Russian cyber-attacks during the US election.

The spy chief said he was confident that Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee and stole its emails, reaching his conclusions based on “human sources, technical collection and open source information,” Sky News reported.

Clapper noted that most of the intelligence reports was classified and could not be released publicly.
