A professional dancer who has performed with Beyoncé and Rihanna vanished in Manhattan early Sunday, prompting cops to issue a missing-person alert — and her father to fear the worst.
“Everyone loves you, they’re worried about you, and you need to come home,” Brad Quigley told The Post on Monday in an emotional appeal to his missing 32-year-old daughter, Shirlene Quigley, who lives in North Bergen, NJ.
North Bergen police say Quigley was seen by her landlord leaving home at about 3 p.m. Saturday. She drove to Manhattan and parked her Mercedes in Midtown. Then she reportedly was seen shopping for dresses at The Bridal Garden on West 21st Street, North Bergen Sgt. Jusino Bronson said.
Quigley was last spotted boarding a bus at the Port Authority Terminal, wearing a pink jacket, shortly after midnight Sunday.
“We don’t suspect foul play,” Bronson said. “We’re investigating this as a missing person.”
Her father, who lives in Burbank, Calif., said his daughter is deeply religious and has been pursuing a celibate life, wanting to save herself for marriage. He was unaware of any possible wedding plans or that she was even in a relationship.
“What’s really odd is that, if she got married, she would so want me and her mother to be there,” Brad Quigley said. “I don’t know what’s going on.”
Shirlene Quigley continues to teach dancing at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan and still sometimes tours with musicians, the dad said.
She performed on Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” tour and also toured with Rihanna, Chris Brown, Missy Elliot and others.
The dad says her behavior has been strange in recent days. When one friend asked her a minor question last week, she texted him back, “I’m spending time with God, my father, and don’t have time to deal with this right now.”
On Thursday, she told a couple friends, “You’re going to have to substitute some of my classes.”
