Coyote spotted haunting cemetery just days before Halloween

It’s no trick — a coyote has been stalking a Queens cemetery a week before Halloween.

The critter has spent the last two days roaming around Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, evading elite Emergency Service Unit cops who tried to capture it on Tuesday.

Amelia Broda, 40, who was there to mark the 18th anniversary of her father’s death, said she heard a strange sound at the tombstone.

“I turned around and looked and it was a few stones away from me. It looked straight at me,” Broda said.

The canine led cops carrying dog-catching poles on a chase — but they gave up after less than an hour.

“I hope they catch it,” said a supervisor. “My workers are scared. People come to visit. I don’t want them to get hurt.”
