Watch as a panda hilariously stage dives

The panda-monium was probably too much for this poor little guy, who face-planted off a stage in southwest China on Thursday.

The tiny giant panda was making its public debut with 22 other cubs at the Chengdu Research Base, which set up the event to celebrate a successful breeding season.

A keeper rushed in but was too late to stop the playful cub from nose-diving into the grass with its legs flailing in the air.

Another cub attempted to escape shortly after, but a worker pushed it back onto the stage before it could fall.

Many of the other cubs took their moment in the spotlight to play or nap as onlookers snapped photos of the cuteness overload.

The nonprofit center has bred 27 cubs this year.
