E! News anchor Maria Menounos‘ mother is battling a brain tumor.
“And so our journey begins. Mom is battling a brain tumor,” Menounos shared via Instagram on Tuesday.
She said that her mom, Litsa, was in Los Angeles for treatment.
Menounos, 38, added that her Greece-born mother is a “champion” and asked fans to pray for Litsa’s full recovery. She later posted a family photo with the hashtag “StandUp2Cancer.”
The TV journalist is engaged to filmmaker Keven Undergaro.
