Donald Trump took a break Sunday morning from blasting Hillary Clinton on Twitter to give The Post a shoutout.
“Wow, President Obama’s brother, Malik, just announced that he is voting for me,” Trump tweeted at 4:46 a.m., a reference to The Post’s exclusive front-page story. “Was probably treated badly by president — like everybody else!”
Obama’s half-brother revealed that he feels a “deep disappointment” over his sibling’s administration, particularly over the president’s support of same-sex marriage and the killing of former Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy.
“I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart,” Malik Obama told The Post from his home in the rural village of Kogelo, Kenya. “ ‘Make America Great Again’ is a great slogan. I would like to meet him.”
Malik, 58, intends to fly to Maryland to cast his ballot for Trump in November.
He used to live in Maryland, where he worked for many years as an accountant, and remains registered to vote there.
