Brother died saving twin sister in Munich mall shooting

A brother gave his life own to save his twin sister during the Munich mall massacre, throwing himself in front of the lone gunman to shield his sibling.

Huseyin Dayick, 19, was shot twice when he jumped in front of his sister as David Ali Sonboly opened fire Friday at the Olympia Center, according to The Sun reports.

His sister is not named.

The heroic Greek teen was in the mall’s MacDonald’s when shots rang out–yet he opted to stay and confront the gunman rather than running, according to the report.

Dayick was at the shopping center buying gifts for family when gunfire started.

Sonboly, 18, shot nine people, mostly teens, and injured 35 more before killing himself.

Other victims included Dijamant Zabergja, 21, Armela Segashi and her 14-year-old friend Sabina Sulaj, Gulliano Kollmann, 18, and 15-year-old Can Leyla.

Sonboly has been described as a “bullied” teen, obsessed with mass killers.
