Ex-Playmate on alleged Trump affair: We were in love

WASHINGTON — A former Playboy Playmate of the Year who says she had a 10-month affair with Donald Trump claimed in an interview Thursday that he introduced her to all of his adult kids during the romance — and that she believed they were in love.

Karen McDougal said her billionaire boyfriend would even compare her to his eldest daughter, Ivanka.

“He said I was beautiful like her,” McDougal told CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

“I heard a lot about her.”

Their tryst began after they met during the filming of “The Apprentice” in June 2006 at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles and continued until April 2007, McDougal said. She said she had unprotected sex with Trump “many dozens of times.”

Though she knew the TV star had a wife with a newborn son, McDougal said she was charmed by Trump — with his nice looks, charisma and “great posture” — and they fell in love.

“He always told me he loved me,” McDougal said, revealing Trump called her “baby” and “beautiful Karen.”

During their alleged love affair, McDougal would book flights and hotels in various cities across the country and the future president would reimburse her so “there is no paper trail,” McDougal said. She said she spent much time with Trump’s longtime bodyguard Keith Schiller, who would drive McDougal to and from her rendezvous spots with Trump.

There’s a photo of Trump, Melania and Ivanka Trump surrounded by Playboy bunnies, including McDougal, during an “Apprentice” party. It was the first time she met Trump’s wife, who had just given birth to son Barron.

“I tried to keep my distance,” McDougal said. “I tried to go as far away as I could because I felt guilty.”

Trump also took his mistress to his gold-adorned home at Trump Tower, she said. He pointed out “Melania’s room,” where she likes to have “alone time.”

McDougal said ultimately it was her guilt over sleeping with a married man that made her call off their affair in 2007.

The teary Playmate apologized in the interview to the first lady: “I’m sorry. I wouldn’t want it done to me. I’m sorry.”

The White House has denied any allegations of an affair between Trump and McDougal.

McDougal said her ex-lover earned her vote at the ballot box.

“I’m a Republican and I voted for Donald.”
