A rookie Jets linebacker known as “Wild Man” was busted early Monday morning for a boozed-up, wrong-way crash with a jitney bus in the Lincoln Tunnel — and bragged about playing for the Gang Green during his arrest, authorities said.
Dylan Donahue had a blood-alcohol level of .15 — nearly twice the legal limit — when he collided with the vehicle in the center, New Jersey-bound tube just before 2 a.m., sources said.
A Port Authority cop witnessed Donahue, who was behind the wheel of a green Dodge Charger Hellcat, weave through traffic cones on the Jersey side and into the center tube against westbound traffic, according to PA spokesman Joe Pentangelo.
The driver’s and passenger side airbags of the Charger were set off by the impact of the crash, which left the vehicle’s front-end completely smashed in.
The 6-3, 248-pound athlete, who was the Jets’ fifth-round pick in the 2017 draft, failed sobriety and breathalyzer tests. He boasted about his position as a backup and special teams player during his arrest.
“He’s telling them that he plays for the Jets,” a law enforcement source said.
The jitney was carrying 15 passengers at the time. Four suffered minor injuries and were transported to Hoboken University Medical Center in stable condition.
The 25-year-old was charged with DWI and reckless driving.
Suleiman Mahmood, 21, who was in the passenger seat in Donahue’s car, was also charged with disorderly conduct.
Donahue suffered a season-ending elbow injury in the Jets’ 23-20 win over the Jaguars last fall. He played in four games last season.
“Everyone calls me ‘Wild Man’ here,” Donahue told The Post last June. “I just do crazy things. Sacrifice-my-body-type stuff.”
Donahue isn’t the first Jet to make recent headlines for bad behavior.
Wide receiver Robby Anderson was collared in Florida in January for driving double the speed limit and threatening to sexually assault a cop’s wife.
The 24-year-old vowed to “find” her, “f–k her” and “nut in her eye,” the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said.
Anderson was also arrested last May on charges of resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of justice during a scuffle with security at a music festival in Miami.
