A worker at a Brooklyn cemetery found a man’s decomposing corpse lying among the graves Thursday morning, authorities said.
The grim discovery was made by a caretaker who was cutting the grass at Trinity Cemetery in Bushwick around 7:40 a.m. and called 911.
Police showed up to investigate and paramedics later took the body to the morgue. The city medical examiner will determine the man’s identity and cause of death. It’s unclear at this time if the man died as a result of foul play.
Investigators found the man, believed to be in his 30s, fully clothed and believe he may have been lying in the cemetery for a day or two due to the level of decomposition.
