Surprised? Don’t be: Lake used to be a professional singer/songwriter, paying her way through law school by singing backup for P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

• She’ll be releasing a new single, “Limitless,” this fall.

• She’s an interior designer and hosted her own HGTV show, “Spice Up My Kitchen,” for six seasons.

• She and her team design all of the necklaces she wears on “Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court.” She’s launching her own necklace line this fall.

• She loves to ride roller coasters.

• Her signature dish is her late mother’s peach cobbler.
