The body of a Queens woman was discovered at the bottom of a pool in Dix Hills, LI, on Sunday, authorities said.
Suffolk County cops said they got a call at 2:40 p.m. to report a drowning incident on Polo Street.
There had been a party at the home the night before, and residents told cops they spotted the body of partygoer Rajkumari Motwani, 55, of Rego Park, at the bottom of the backyard pool while cleaning up.
Elsewhere on Long Island, a 2-year-old boy nearly drowned when he wandered into the indoor pool of a Lawrence home before being discovered by a family member at around 12:15 p.m. cops said
The boy was rushed to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway in serious condition.
