Owners of Google Glass will now have the ability to literally give their smart eyewear a piece of their mind, thanks to a new advanced telekinetic app.
Developed by British firm This Place, MindRDR allows users to take pictures and video by doing nothing more than focusing their concentration on a subject, RT reports.
Brain-Computer Interface manufacturer Neurosky has created a biosensor called the EEG that has the ability to analyze a person’s brainwaves and then accurately perform their intended actions.
Want to take a picture of the Empire State Building?
All users will have to do is sharply aim their concentration at the world-famous superstructure.
A meter will then appear in the Google Glass’ camera view, informing users when they’ve reached a high enough level of concentration to snap the photo.
Taking things a step further, if the user focuses even harder on their subject, the meter will rise again and then post the picture to various social media websites.
If a person changes their mind and doesn’t want the photo, they will need to relax their thoughts, which will result in the meter lowering.
Creators hope that the advanced mind-reading technology will one day be able to teach people to improve their concentration and even assist people with disabilities.
