A gunman wounded two men when he opened fire on a group of people standing on a sidewalk in Fordham, cops said.

The men were gathered outside of 2379 Creston Ave. at around 9:50 p.m. last Wednesday when the thug (caught on surveillance, above) approached and shot an 18-year-old in the stomach and a 23-year-old in the shin before fleeing, police said.

Both victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

Investigators believe that the gunman had been dropped off at the scene in a light-colored SUV before the shooting.

He was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt.


Brooklyn

A thief was caught trying to elude security scanners by putting more than $1,000 in clothing in an aluminum-lined box at the Macy’s department store in Mill Basin, authorities said Sunday.

Tyrone Smith, 41, tried to walk out of the store with $1,056 worth of merchandize in the box at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, a Criminal Court complaint charges.

Security guards spotted him, and he has been charged with petit larceny, possession of stolen property and possession of an anti-security item, said a spokeswoman for District Attorney Kenneth Thompson.


Manhattan

Police have made an arrest in connection with a string of burglaries in Midtown and Chelsea.

Darnell Lawson, 50, was charged with attempted burglary and criminal trespass Saturday after trying to break into a loft on West 36th Street near Fifth Avenue where a catering business operates, police said.

He is also a suspect in two other break-ins, cops said.

He got into a building on West 36th Street in the Garment District at around 7:20 p.m. April 11, snatched two MacBooks and fled, according to police.

On June 12, he allegedly broke into an office building on West 27th Street near Seventh Avenue at around 9 p.m. and fled with five laptops.

Investigators are trying to determine if he committed several other burglaries in the area this year.


A woman told cops that her ex-boyfriend walked off with her expensive watch when he moved out of her apartment on West 28th Street.

The 24-year-old accuser said she realized her $1,400 Omega timepiece was gone after the cad packed up and left July 10, sources said Sunday.

Police are still looking into the claim, and no arrests have been made.


A thief stole nearly $1,700 worth of cologne from the Abercrombie & Fitch store at in the South Street Seaport, authorities said Sunday.

He swiped several bottles of Fierce from the clothing store at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, law-enforcement sources said.

The thief placed the $1,698 worth of the fragrance, marketed as a “bold and masculine scent,” inside a bag and walked out.


Three men have fallen victim to gun violence — including one who died — in Harlem.

The victims were on Lexington Avenue near East 122nd Street at around 2:35 a.m. last Tuesday, when they were wounded in a hail of bullets fired by an unidentified triggerman, cops said on Sunday.

Police found one man in a car who had suffered a chest wound.

The man, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 27-year-old man, who was also in the car, took a bullet to the leg, and a 33-year-old man was struck in the forearm.

The survivors were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.


A man who is trying to rent his Chelsea apartment has told police he suspects his broker is behind a robbery of the home.

The 23-year-old man had given the key to his West 21st Street pad to the broker and left the place from 8 a.m. until 7:20 p.m. July 10, sources said Sunday.

When he returned, the apartment was a mess and three Apple laptops had vanished, along with his passport, although there was no sign of forced entry, the sources added.

The victim told investigators that he had been arguing with the broker recently.


Two people have been charged with DWI after driving the wrong way on the same West Side street within an hour of each other, sources said Sunday.

Cops noticed the first offender, Wan Lee, 24, going north on a one-way section of 11th Avenue near West 42nd Street at around 3:15 a.m., pulled him over and smelled booze on his breath, they said.

The inebriated motorist blew a 0.2 on a Breathalyzer, more than twice the legal limit, and slurred his speech, the sources added.

About 45 minutes later, Donnell Rawlings, 46, was pulled over for going north on the same southbound stretch of the avenue in a 1985 Cadillac El Dorado, the sources said.

He, too, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
