More couples to get ‘Married at First Sight’

Looks like wedding bells will be ringing for a new batch of brave singles.

FYI network has renewed its controversial reality series “Married at First Sight” for a second season, with 11 new episodes to premiere next year.

The extreme social experiment follows six people who agree to get legally married the moment they first meet a spouse that has been selected for them by a group of experts.

The couples live together for five weeks, then must decide whether to stay together or get a divorce.

Season One, which is set in New York, airs its finale on Sept. 9. The most recent episode of “Married at First Sight” averaged 661,000 viewers, a series high.
