Now we know how LeBron feels about Love-Wiggins debate

LeBron James wants Kevin Love in Cleveland, the Timberwolves want Andrew Wiggins part of any deal involving Love and the Cavaliers are willing to include the rookie in the package.

Or are they?

If this Decision were up to LeBron, it seems clear which way he would vote. James reached out to Love about joining him in Cleveland, according to Yahoo Sports, and Love is “enthusiastic about” teaming up.

After initially refusing to discuss a deal including Wiggins, the top pick in the draft out of Kansas who has impressed at the NBA Summer League, there are reports the Cavs have changed their mind (or LeBron changed it for them).

Yet there didn’t seem to be any traction in talks between the two teams, and new coach David Blatt shot down the reports.

“That’s why they call them rumors,” Blatt said Thursday night. “Sooner or later, in one’s career, you’re going have to deal with it. So if [Wiggins] has to deal with it now, then so be it. It’s the summer league. He’s learning everything as he goes along.”

Love, who has one year left on his deal, has told Minnesota he will opt out of his contract after next season and leave the franchise in free agency if he is not traded.
