The suspect snatched a chain from around a young woman’s neck in broad daylight in Bushwick, cops said.

The suspected thief approached the 19-year-old victim at Jefferson Street and Bushwick Avenue at about 9 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.

With a hard yank, he ripped the gold chain off her neck and fled, cops said.

The victim was not injured.


A man stabbed a foe to death in East New York, cops said.

The 22-year-old victim was walking along Liberty Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when the ­assailant approached, and the two began fighting.

The attacker then plunged a knife into the victim’s eye, chest and arm, cops said.

EMS rushed the wounded man to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The victim’s name was withheld pending family notification.

Manhattan

An NYPD janitor was arrested for allegedly shoplifting clothes from an Old Navy store in Harlem, ­police sources said.

Darnell Sealy-McCrorey, 26, was busted on Wednesday after allegedly taking a five-finger discount for $561 worth of merchandise at the West 125th Street store, cops said.

He was charged with ­petit larceny and possession of stolen property.

A burglar smashed the window of an Upper East Side nail salon and made off with $220, police said.

Cops say that on Thursday a suspect threw a cinder block through a side window of the salon on Second Avenue near East 93rd Street, entered and swiped a cash box, authorities added.

The suspect was seen on video surveillance with a cigarette dangling from his mouth and headphones around his neck.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes and a blue Yankee baseball cap.

Queens

Cops arrested the alleged brute who allegedly assaulted and attempted to rape a 61-year-old woman on a street in Woodside.

Frangklin Lliguichuzhca, 21, of 76th Street, walked up to the victim near 71st Street and 41st Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. on June 11, hit her in the face and shoved her to the ground, police allege.

The predator then tried to rape the woman, but she resisted and scared him off, cops added.

The victim sustained minor injuries, and Lliguichuzhca was arrested days later, police said Wednesday.

He was charged with assault, attempted rape and sexual abuse, according to authorities.


Police are investigating the death of a young woman whose body was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a ­Jamaica home, cops said.

The body was found in a bedroom in the two-family home on 106th Avenue near 180th Street at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

Investigators initially believed the wound was self-inflicted, but the house is known as a drug hangout and no firearm was recovered at the scene, sources said.

Now the death is being investigated as a possible slaying.

A man in the house was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, but he has not been charged in connection with the death.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending family notification.


A thief was caught on camera stealing a laptop computer from a laundry in South Richmond Hill, cops said.

The suspect entered the Metropolitan Laundry on 101st Avenue at about 1:05 p.m. on May 30 and made a beeline for an office, police said.

The man, about 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, snatched the laptop and fled, cops added.

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly snatched a wallet from a man in Tompkinsville.

The robber ran toward the 30-year-old victim on Jersey Street at about 8:30 p.m. on June 8 and grabbed his wallet, according to ­authorities.

The victim was not injured, officials said. The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds.
