Model weeps in court after being denied dismissal

A gorgeous former “Project Runway” model burst into tears Tuesday after learning she’ll have to schlep it back to Manhattan court for the 10th time to battle charges she lied to cops about being mugged.

Leggy blond Morgan Quinn, who turned heads in a short brown leather Zara dress and light grey-pointed heels in Manhattan Criminal Court, hopes her case will be dismissed when she returns in October.

“I was hoping for a dismissal Tuesday,” said the disappointed Quinn, who wept in the hallway after a brief hearing.

Quinn is charged with filing a false police report after allegedly lying to cops that she was mugged by a homeless man last August. She said the thief swiped a $2,000 cocktail ring and Chanel bag from her, but cops said surveillance video of the alleged attack knocked down her story.

“Our position has always been that Morgan was a victim of a robbery,” said her equally well-dressed lawyer, Brian Kennedy.

Kennedy said he and prosecutors are negotiating a possible dismissal of the misdemeanor charges against her — but said he’s prepared to go to trial if that doesn’t happen.

“If they offer her an ACD [adjournment in contemplation of dismissal], the DA’s office would be doing the right thing,” said Kennedy.
