Man beaten to death outside reality TV star’s bar

An associate of “Mob Wives” star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola was fatally struck when he tried to break up a fight involving three men early Sunday outside the reality-TV celeb’s Staten Island bar.

The 46-year-old man, whom Raiola described as a “gentle giant,” was found unconscious on the ground outside the Drunken Monkey Bar & Grill on Forest Avenue around 3:40 a.m.

He suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

His name was not released pending family notification, but sources said he lived on Staten Island. One source said he was a foreign national.

Raiola said the man was a regular at the bar.

“He was a wonderful person. He was a gentle giant,” she told The Post. “I can’t talk about this. I’ve been sick to my stomach.”

A dispute had begun in the bar before it came to blows outside, law-enforcement sources said.

It’s believed the man was trying only to stop the fight.

A crew was still washing blood off the pavement at the bar Sunday afternoon.

“Ang was here all last night with the police, and she’s very upset at what happened outside her bar,” a bartender said Sunday.

“No fighting happened in here. It was all outside.”

Raiola, a niece of late Genovese capo Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi, had not been at the bar.

She expressed her grief over Twitter Sunday.

“I personally share my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, and we too are feeling this loss in our drunken monkey family,” she tweeted.

“My heart is broken by the tragic and senseless loss.”

It appears no weapons were used, and police believe the man was punched and his head hit the pavement as he fell, law-enforcement sources said.

There were no arrests, but investigators have security video, sources said.
