The New York Jets: the team America forgot about.
The Jets are the only NFL team that does not hold sway in a single county in the United States — sorry, Suffolk; not you, Nassau; better luck next time, Bergen — as measured by Facebook “likes,” in data released by the social network.
On the color-coded map, it’s a sea of Giants blue across north Jersey, eastern New York and into some precincts of Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
Otherwise, there are few surprises: the Cowboys remain America’s Team, with a reach from the Carolinas to Nevada; the Broncos rule the Rockies; the Patriots have their solid six-state domain in New England. Even the Texans and Jaguars have carved out little niches — but no love for the Jets.
