A thug sucker-punched a man during an attempted robbery in Williamsbridge, authorities said.

Rasheem Smith, 40, slugged the 54-year-old victim on the corner of White Plains Road and East 226th Street last Saturday at about 2:40 p.m., a Criminal Court complaint states.

He then tried, but failed, to rip the man’s gold chain off his neck, records state.

Smith was charged with attempted robbery, assault and harassment.

Manhattan

A mugger tried to rob a woman in her Lower East Side building, cops said.

The brute followed the 69-year-old woman into the elevator of the Pike Street building at 6:50 p.m. last Sunday, according to police.

Once inside, he cornered her, but found she nothing of value in her pockets, cops said.

The mugger fled and the victim was not injured, police said.

The suspect was caught on video surveillance as he approached the victim, who was carrying two bags of groceries, cops added.


A woman was robbed of nearly $8,000 in a lower Manhattan subway station, police said.

The 39-year-old victim got off the southbound No. 4 train at Fulton Street at about 3 p.m. on June 6 and was exiting at Broadway and John Street.

As she walked up the staircase, a man in his 30s snatched her purse and ran, the victim told cops.

She lost a black leather bag containing $7,850 in cash and an iPhone 5S, police sources said.


More than $3,000 worth of electronics were stolen from the booth of a BookExpo vendor at the Javits Center, cops said.

The 44-year-old vendor left an $800 iPad, a $1,500 Dell laptop, a $500 suitcase and two pairs of sandals in the stall when she shut down on May 30 at about 6 p.m., police said.

She realized the next afternoon that her belongings were gone.

Several vendors have recently reported thefts of valuables from their display booths, sources said.


Three thieves made off with a pricey bag from a Soho boutique, police said.

Two women and one man walked into the Porsche Design shop on Broadway at about 6:30 p.m. June 3, sources said.

One of the women plucked a fuschia Porsche Design Twinbag from a display at the front of the store and dropped it into the man’s white shopping bag before the trio walked out with the $1,950 bag, police sources said.


A couture consultant’s Longchamp tote was stolen while she dined at a popular Italian eatery in Chelsea, sources said.

The 27-year-old woman, who has worked for Dior, Chanel and Saks, was dining with friends at The Meatball on Ninth Avenue, near West 22nd Street, last Friday at about 6:30 p.m. with the designer bag slung over the back of her chair, law-enforcement sources said.

When the woman went to grab the tote, it was gone.

In all, she lost the bag, a phone, glasses and other items worth more than $1,000, according to the sources.

Staten Island

A chatty boozer flipped her father’s car after hitting two parked vehicles while driving drunk in Mariners Harbor and talking to her boyfriend on the phone, authorities said.

Lisa Marrocolo, 29, was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima at 12:10 a.m. last Sunday when she struck two parked cars at Leight Avenue and Felton Street, and then flipped her car, a Criminal Court complaint charges.

Marrocolo allegedly told police, “I was on the phone with my boyfriend and a car was coming so I swerved to avoid it and then I was upside down and I crawled out of the car.”

Marrocolo was over the legal limit on a Breathalyzer, and admitted to having two vodka and lemonades, records state.

She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.


A Port Richmond man driving with an obscured license plate was arrested when cops found an illegal knife and 37 glassines of heroine on him, authorities said.

Edie Sanjuro, 39, was pulled over at Richmond Terrace and Holland Avenue for having an obstructed license plate on June 6, a Criminal Court complaint states.

The officer saw an illegal “gravity” knife protruding from the glove compartment, and the cop decided to search the car and driver, records state.

Sanjuro also had heroin in his waistband and a police scanner in the vehicle, the documents state.

The scanners are illegal in New York City.

Sanjuro was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon.
