Stars rock summertime chic at the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic

The stars aligned Saturday afternoon for the seventh annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Jersey City, NJ, where Lupita Nyong’o showed up to add some much needed flavor to the historically WASPy affair.

Of course, she wasn’t alone.

Other famous names flocked to the manicured fields in their summertime finest. Here are the best of the dressed — so many got it white.

Since there’s no need to explain why Nyong’o looks stunning, we’ll just point out the pop of blue toenail polish cutely matching her presumably Lancôme eye shadow and the fact that she’s wearing head-to-toe Alexander McQueen.

Julianne Moore

Moore’s navy wide-leg jumpsuit by designer du jour Rosie Assoulin is très chic. It just screams “I would have worn black if it weren’t so motherf - - king hot.”

Julia Restoin Roitfeld

The art director/model/hot mom looks le smoking-hot in Dolce & Gabbana.

Olivia Munn

Munn nails the concept of little white dress in this Peter Pan-collared version by Lover, available here. The actress turns it up with fiery orange lipstick — one of the biggest spring/summer runway beauty trends.

Dakota Johnson

Ms. Johnson is 50 shades of great in a black-and-white Diane von Furstenberg sundress similar to Nyong’o’s.

Busy Phillips

We’re usually too “busy” paying attention to other people when Phillips shows up anywhere, but this go-round the actress, decked out in a Madewell dress, Lanvin shoes, Irene Neuwirth earrings and pretty milkmaid braids, is actually one of the standouts.

Behati Prinsloo

The future Mrs. Adam Levine looks too good for that unfortunate moniker in this dove gray Calvin Klein ensemble — a minimalist’s dream.
