Online dating is going to the dogs!
New York City pooch owners are sniffing out compatible pup parents for “play dates,” using a new app that works just like internet dating.
DoggyBnb — which is set up like the hook-up app Tinder — helps dog owners in close proximity meet up for walks and trips to the park, creators told The Post.
To use the app, pooch parents enter their dog’s photo, along with age, weight and gender.
Users then scroll through pet profiles, swiping right if they’re interested and left if they’re not.
“I just moved to Upper West Side in June. I didn’t know anyone but there’s a ton of dog people up here,” co-founder Dan Joldzic, 34, told The Post.
“This is all about creating a trusted network for you and your pet … It relieves the awkwardness of approaching a stranger in a park,” he said.
The app also helps dog owners find fellow animal lovers to pup-sit when they’re out of town, by sending out a “woof,” or a message to their network.
Joldzic said his co-founder, Adam Pokornicky, came up with the idea after he had to turn down a trip to Atlantic City because he couldn’t find a pal to watch his dog.
“He put out a few calls to friends. No one got back to him, so he didn’t go on the trip … He thought, there has to be a better way,” Joldzic said.
The app, which launched on Wednesday, is free to download. Creators charge a 10 percent fee if a sitter charges more than $10 for a job.
Users can also enter a photo of themselves, neighborhood and other personal details.
