Man posed as 12-year-old at school, busted for child porn

HURST, Texas — Two men have been arrested in a suburban North Texas child porn case, including a 17-year-old man who police say enrolled in an elementary school posing as a 12-year-old.

Hurst police say 28-year-old Randy Ray Wesson is jailed on $3 million, charged with promoting and selling child pornography and tampering with an official record. Also, 17-year-old Ricardo Javid Lugo is jailed on $250,000 bond, charged with possessing child pornography.

A police statement says Lugo was enrolled as a 12-year-old in the sixth grade at Hurst Hills Elementary School. Detectives say that enrollment was supported by bogus documents presented to the school.

Police Sgt. Craig Teague says the two apparently have not hired attorneys yet.

Detectives are asking parents to report any contact with the pair.
