Brooklyn

â–  A man was found mortally wounded early Friday on a street in Coney Island, cops said.

The victim was found at Brighton Beach Avenue and Brighton 4th Street at approximately 2:20 a.m. with an apparent stab wound to the torso, according to police.

Emergency responders rushed the man, who was unconscious and unresponsive, to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on ­arrival, cops said.

The identity of the deceased was withheld pending family notification.

â–  A man was shot on a street in Canarsie, cops said.

The 20-year-old victim was on Rockaway Avenue near Avenue M when an unknown triggerman in a black vehicle fired a bullet into his right leg at approximately 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.

He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital for treatment of the wound, which authorities considered to be non-life-threatening, cops said.


 Queens

â–  A man was assaulted by three punks in a hookah bar in Ozone Park, said law-enforcement authorities.

The thugs approached the victim in the Aladdin hookah bar on Liberty Avenue near 109th Street at about 6:20 p.m. on June 10 and began kicking him, cops said.

One assailant then struck him in the head with a metal object and the trio fled, cops said.

The 17-year-old victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital for a head laceration, cops said.

The assailants are believed to be between 18 and 25 years old.


 Staten Island

â–  A 36-year-old good Samaritan was stabbed in the back with a screwdriver early Friday as he tried to separate a fighting couple in Tottenville, cops said.

The victim spotted the couple in a heated argument that appeared to be turning violent near the Annadale railroad station at about 3:45 a.m., according to police.

He approached the raging beau, who turned his wrath on the Samaritan, pulling a screwdriver and stabbing him in the back multiple times, cops said.

A bouncer at the nearby Play Sports Bar rushed over as the attacker fled in a 2003 Lexus.

The bar employee wrote down the car’s license-plate number and gave it to police, according to law-enforcement sources.

Cops traced the registration to a nearby home but the suspect was nowhere to be found, police said.

The victim was treated at Staten Island University North Hospital for non-life-threatening puncture wounds, cops said.

â–  A retired NYPD officer was arrested for allegedly head-butting his wife and possessing cocaine, police sources said.

Michael Miller, 47, attacked his wife in their home on Robinson Avenue near Hillcrest Street in Eltingville at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, a Criminal Court complaint states.

Miller allegedly slammed his head into his wife’s nose and slapped her across the face, causing bruising and swelling, according to the court documents.

Arriving police found a Ziploc bag of cocaine in the suspect’s pants pocket, the complaint states.

Miller was charged with assault, criminal possession of a controlled substance and harassment.

■ Trying to make a buck on America’s independence, a man was caught trying to wheel and deal $500 worth of fireworks to people gearing up for the Fourth of July, police sources said.

John Friedrich, 28, from Park Slope, Brooklyn, was spotted hawking the illegal fireworks on the northeast corner of West Shore Expressway and Rossville Avenue in the Rossville section, a Criminal Court complaint states.

Friedrich was charged with unlawful dealing of fireworks and possession of dangerous fireworks, a misdemeanor, the sources said.


 The Bronx

â–  A 37-year-old woman was shot in Pelham, cops said.

The victim was on Williamsbridge Road near Mace Avenue at the Pelham Parkway Houses when she was shot in the ankle at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was treated for a non-life-threatening wound, cops said.

No arrests have been made.

â–  Two people were shot for unknown reasons on a University Heights street, cops said.

The victims were walking along an overpass near Sedgwick and Cedar avenues when the man, 25, heard shots being fired at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

Suddenly, his gal pal, 20, was struck in the right leg by a bullet, cops said.

Another bullet struck the man’s leg, said police.

The shooter fled the scene unseen, cops said.

Emergency responders found the victims bloodied on the ground.

They were rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, cops said.
