Facebook refuses to remove subway death-drag video

Facebook refuses to take down a subway surveillance video that an NYPD cop leaked of a Bronx man being dragged to his death by a train at Penn Station — even though its standards say graphic images can’t be shared sadistically and should include a warning.

Since the video of the gruesome death of Nyrel Wade, 23, was uploaded Monday, it has gotten more than 200,000 views and was posted on the timelines of at least 6,000 users.

Facebook’s standards say that “graphic images shared for sadistic effect or to celebrate or glorify violence have no place on our site,” and that they should come with a warning.

The company defended not removing the video, saying not all disturbing content violates its standards — and users can block unwanted posts.

Wade’s mother, Sophia Farquharson of The Bronx, told The Post she wants the video removed. “I don’t want anyone to see it and remember him by it,” she said. “You don’t want a constant reminder of how your child died.”
