A Long Island man is accused of raping a 21-year-old woman early Saturday after allegedly sneaking into her Bensonhurst apartment through a window, choking her and dragging her into her living room.

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect, David Evanson, 25, of Deer Park, authorities said.

After allegedly assaulting the woman at about 3 a.m., he drove off in a sedan.

He knew the victim, who was treated at a local hospital, police said.

Evanson, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 150 pounds, was arrested in 2001 but his record is sealed.


A man tried to elude police by running through traffic on the George Washington Bridge and biting a cop after hitting two cars in a road-rage incident, authorities said.

Scott Parsons, of Princeton, NJ, smashed into two vehicles in the westbound lanes on the upper level of the span Sunday at 3:30 p.m., police said.

When Port Authority officers approached, Parsons, 56, hopped out of his 1991 GMC pickup, vaulted over a barrier and darted into traffic, officials said.

Once cops caught up with him, Parsons kicked, flailed his arm and bit an officer, police said.

Witnesses told the cops he had deliberately hit a 2012 Honda before colliding with a 2012 Chrysler.

The officer who was bitten on his left hand and the suspect were taken to Englewood Hospital.

Two children who were riding in the Chrysler were taken to Columbia­Presbyterian Hospital and released.

The cop was also released, but the suspect remained hospitalized for observation, sources said.

He was charged with assault by automobile, aggravated assault on a police officer, leaving the scene of an accident with bodily injury, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and trespass.


A man conked a female friend on the head with a frying pan after a dispute in a Greenwich Village apartment building, cops said.

Jaime McKeown, 56, hurled the skillet at the 57-year-old while she was waiting for the elevator in the building on East 10th Street near University Place on Aug. 12 at about 11:10 a.m., cops said.

A surveillance camera in the elevator caught the aftermath of the attack where McKeown is seen dragging the woman on the floor, cops said.

He was charged with assault and intent to cause serious physical injury.


A bicyclist was punched and robbed by a pedestrian, he nearly ran over in the West Village, police said.

The 31-year-old man on the bike swerved to avoid hitting Gregory Enix, 30, at the corner of Greenwich and Christopher streets on Aug. 14 at about 4:20 p.m., cops said.

The cyclist fell to the ground and Enix punched him, stole his iPhone and fled, according to police.

The victim suffered a cut chin and lips and pain on the bridge of his nose.

Enix was charged with robbery and criminal mischief.


Police are looking for a gunman who opened fire on a man in East Harlem.

The shooter and four male pals were at East 105th Street and First Avenue on Aug. 9 at 9:45 p.m., when he raised his .45-caliber handgun and fired at an apparent rival, near the East River Community Center, authorities said.

The shot missed and all involved fled, cops said.

The motive was not immediately clear.

Police are looking for a thief who stole nearly $2,000 from a woman’s bank account after she left her purse on an uptown train in Fordham, police said.

The 47-year-old woman had just stepped off a No. 2 train at East Tremont Avenue on July 7 at about 8:15 a.m. when she realized she left her purse with her wallet and checkbook on board, cops said.

Within hours, she received a phone call from Chase Bank informing her that the suspect had cashed an $1,800 check from her account at a bank on 90 W. 225th St. in Marble Hill, authorities said.


An off-duty NYPD traffic agent was arrested after she bit her husband and threatened him with a knife in their Soundview home, police said.

Brenda Negron, 51, allegedly approached her husband with a knife during a domestic dispute Sunday at about 5 p.m., cops said.

The couple struggled and Negron bit her spouse in the chest, police added.

The husband suffered only minor injuries.

Negron was charged with assault and menacing, cops said.
