Adam Kuhn, chief of staff to Rep. Steve Stivers, resigned after the actress tweeted a picture of his wiener to the Twitter account of his boss, a two-term lawmaker.
According to her own posts, one-time porn star Jennifer Roubenes Allbaugh was angry at Kuhn for breaking off their relationship.
“I hate you, AJK, you selfish pompous a—hole,” she tweeted on June 21, using the initials for Adam Joshua Kuhn.
“Now we’re even,” she added.
Kuhn is single. Allbaugh is married.
“The office is not commenting on his personal life,” said Stivers spokeswoman Courtney Whetstone, confirming his departure.
Kuhn issued a statement conceding he used “poor judgment” in his personal life.
“Over the weekend, I was the victim of an attack on Twitter from a woman I had a relationship with in my personal life,” Kuhn told Politico, which broke the story. “I realize and apologize; I had used poor judgment in my personal life regarding this relationship. The woman who posted this has reached out to me to apologize.”
Allbaugh admitted she had been out for “revenge,” but she later deleted the Tweet after getting a cease-and-desist order.
