Tough Titans first to unmask Chiefs

Including the 1997-2013 seasons in The Post, Cat’s record in print stands at 501-426 (54 percent) against the spread.

SUNDAY

Titans (+3 1/2) over CHIEFS: In Andy Reid’s first go-round as Chiefs honcho, his opportunistic bunch went plus-18 in turnover margin against a cake schedule, after going minus-24 under Romeo Crennel the previous season. Can you say regression? Reid coped with (and swept) the entire NFC East last year, as the ex-Eagle boss’ familiarity with ’em paid off. This favorite’s now headed back to Earth, as new Titan boss Ken Whisenhunt has had Reid’s number forever, and KW’s outfits are always primed and ready for road openers. Titans (+4) loom large, for one unit.

MONDAY

Chargers (+3) over CARDINALS: Both sides took great pains to show nothing in their meeting 11 days ago, but Cards’ defense is nicked up and unlikely to be as stout as last year’s unit. It’s no accident Bolt QB Philip Rivers had a sensational ’13; sharp coaching tightened up his delivery, making Rivers a far more efficient passer. HC Mike McCoy’s hip, and his offense can play keep away vs. Carson Palmer. Charge it (+3), for one unit.

2014 SEASON: 0-1 (Packers/SEAHAWKS Over 46¹/₂ result, pending).
