Kim K.’s ex-dentist gets last laugh in fight over $1,600 unpaid bill

The dentist who claims Kim Kardashian stiffed him 12 years ago is finally smiling.

Los Angeles dentist Craig Gordon, who won a $1,605.73 judgment in 2002 against the reality-TV star over an unpaid bill, has sold the claim for $5,000 to an anonymous bidder.

Judgment Marketplace, a website that specializes in auctioning off judgments, said Thursday that the sale price is worth more than the $3,506.65 total value of the principal and interest combined.

“This is the first time that this has ever happened,” CEO Shawn Porat said in a statement. “Judgments usually sell for only pennies on the dollar.”

Why would someone pay more than the claim is worth? Kardashian either has a big fan — or an even bigger enemy who would like a chance to get some of her cash.

“From the point of view of the buyer, it’s not just the face value, but the potential value as interest keeps adding up,” Porat said.

The judgment awarded Oct. 22, 2002, which can be pursued for up to 20 years, has accrued $1,900.92 in interest, according to the listing on the website.

Gordon said Kardashian came to him in 2001 to switch out her silver filling for prettier porcelain ones. He sued her in 2002 and because she was a no-show in court, won a default judgment for $1,605.73.

In the years since, the judgment continues to grow, but Gordon — still unable to collect the money from the reality-TV star worth an estimated $28 million by Forbes — said he opted to auction it off.

“The fact that she never paid this judgment after all the money she’s made tells me that she just didn’t think it was important enough to bother with,” Gordon said in the statement. “Although I wish she had just paid her bill like most of my clients do, I’m really glad to finally have closure on this incident.”
