Manhattan

Police do not know if the two men knew each other before the altercation.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital for treatment of the gunshot wound, officials said.

Police released surveillance video on Monday showing the suspect who they believe fatally shot an aspiring rapper and his manager in Harlem.

The assailant had his head covered with a gray hoodie when he pulled a handgun from the right pocket of his cargo shorts at the corner of West 151st and Broadway, surveillance video shows.

A white Nissan Altima, believed to be the getaway car, was also captured driving past the deli where rapper Francisco Mercedez, 29, and his manager Kenny Jimenez, 21, were standing outside around 3 a.m., Sunday.

The suspect shot Jimenez in the neck and he died at the scene, cops said.

Mercedez, also known as Boy Summa, was hit in the back.

He was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, officials said.

The duo had just returned from a record-release party in Connecticut when they were gunned down.

Police are investigating whether drugs triggered the shooting, law enforcement sources said.

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the Hudson River near Greenwich Village.

The victim was fully clothed and badly decomposed when cops pulled him out near Pier 45 at Christopher Street around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

There were no immediate signs of trauma and investigators are waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death.

 Queens

A man was killed in a hit and run in Maspeth early Monday, cops said.

Karoll Grzegorczyk, 32, was between two parked cars nowhere near a crosswalk when he walked into the street on Fresh Pond Road near 60th Drive and a sedan struck him around 2:50 a.m., police said.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Police are looking for the hit-nad-run driver.

Police are asking anyone who may have been sexually assaulted by a Flushing man posing as a cop to come forward.

Edgar Diaz, 28, allegedly targeted women on the hooker Web site Backpage.com at least twice and met up with them pretending to be an undercover cop, a source said.

He then allegedly coerced the prostitutes into sex acts, the source added.

Diaz was arrested after picking up a girl at the Queens Motel Inn on Aug. 6 at about 1 a.m. while wearing an NYPD T-shirt, a Criminal Court complaint states.

Once the victim got into his 2005 Nissan, he flashed a phony gold shield and said, “You remind me of my sister,” records state.

“I can call off the other officers and give you a break,” he allegedly said. He went to the woman’s room, dropped his pants and said, “I will take care of you, but you have to comply,” court papers state.

Diaz then forced the woman to have sex with him, cops said.

In 2012, another prostitute reported Diaz to police but she stopped cooperating when she found out he wasn’t a real cop, sources said.

Police now fear other women believe he’s a cop and they want anyone who has dealt with him to come forward, sources added.

The Bronx

Two thieves stole an elderly woman’s wallet while in line at a Bedford Park supermarket and then charged nearly $600 on her credit card, police said.

The suspects followed the 79-year-old victim inside the Met Supermarket on East 198th Street on July 11 and snatched her wallet, according to cops.

The pair went to a nearby Rite Aid and charged more than $300 on the stolen card before meeting a third suspect who helped rack up another $285 at a second Rite Aid, police said.
