Ex-Citi honcho sells 15 Central Park West pad for $5M

He’s got the Midas touch.

Ex-Citigroup honcho Sandy Weill even makes money when he sells his staff apartment at 15 Central Park West — for $5.337 million, according to city property records.

That’s more than five times the $987,737 he bought it for in October 2007.

Weill last made real-estate headlines for selling his triplex apartment in the star-studded building for $88 million to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, who had gone on a mad real estate buying binge as his divorce bust-up was raging overseas.

Weill’s former four-room staff apartment contains just one bedroom and one and a half bathrooms. It’s a relatively roomy 1,078 square feet and boasts a private terrace and a chef’s kitchen with a washer/dryer.

The apartment, according to the listing, also includes a double entryway with a powder room and coat closet.

Some 15 CPW residents keep small apartments in the building for their domestic employees or to keep house guests at bay — or even to use as their own private gyms.

The exclusive building, designed by starchitect Robert A.M. Stern, boasts current residents like Sting and former residents like Alex Rodriguez.

Building amenities include its own clubby restaurant, where neighbors get together for festive holiday meals. There’s also a walnut-paneled library, a screening room, a private wine cellar, and a 14,000-square-foot fitness center with a pool. In addition, there’s a paparazzi-proof “private car-port and on-site garage,” according to the listing.
