A hot-tub rendezvous turned deadly for a Brooklyn couple whose corpses were found naked next to an empty gallon bottle of vodka, police sources said Tuesday.
The bodies of Jacek Crockiewitz, 58, and his girlfriend, Alicja Wieczorkiewicz, 66, were discovered in the tub at an apartment on Nassau Avenue near Jewel Street in Greenpoint Sunday afternoon, police sources and witnesses said.
A $31.95 bottle of Tanqueray Sterling vodka was nearby, according to the sources.
Izzy Douman, 21, a worker at nearby deli, said a postal employee found the bodies.
“The mailman came out screaming, ‘There’s two dead people!’ You could tell by his face he saw something really terrifying,” Douman said.
The deli man said the bodies “were butt-naked. There was a crowd of people and a lady outside crying outside. She was speaking Polish.”
Wieczorkiewicz was a regular customer and often bought lottery tickets, the deli man said.
“She would play scratch-offs. She had that old-lady smell, like alcohol. I smelled her drunk,” he said.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death.
Police said there were no signs of foul play.
