■ Police released photos of a man wanted for stealing almost $35,000 from five banks in the Jackson Heights area over the course of two years.

The robber began his spree on July 15, 2012, when he knocked off an Amalgamated Bank on 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights and fled with nearly $1,500, cops said.

The bandit stole $8,680 from an HSBC Bank on Aug. 20, 2012, and another $8,783 from a Chase Bank two months later, police said.

His biggest hit was on Dec. 12, 2012, when he made off with $12,400 from another Chase in Jackson Heights, cops added.

The string of heists continued as late as this week.

Police say a man fitting the suspect’s description gave a teller a demand note at a Santander Bank on Northern Boulevard on Tuesday, but he left empty handed after the teller refused to turn over cash.

In all, the thief got $34,441 from five different banks. The suspect is believed to be in his early 30s, about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds, with a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a Yankee cap, a button-down short-sleeve shirt, tinted eyeglasses and a black watch on his left wrist.

■ A livery cab driver was killed by a fellow hack who plunged a screwdriver into his chest, police sources said.

Royan Ennis, 31, of Georgia, was on Beach 20th Street and Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway on Wednesday at about 5:45 p.m. when he and another driver got into a heated argument over money, cops said.

The suspect has not been identified, but detectives are reviewing video surveillance.

Ennis was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he died, the sources said.

It wasn’t immediately clear how investigators determined a screwdriver was used.

No weapon was recovered from the scene.


 Brooklyn

■ Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old man whose body was decomposing in a Brighton Beach apartment.

The super called cops Tuesday at about 11 a.m. to complain of a foul odor emanating from the apartment on Brighton 1st Road near Brightwater Court.

Responding officers found the 44-year-old tenant dead inside.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether foul play was involved and investigators were waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.

■ A man was shot in the leg during an argument in Flatbush.

The 22-year-old victim was arguing with another man on Ocean Avenue near Albemarle Road on Tuesday at about 7:45 p.m. when the rival pulled out a gun a shot him, cops said.

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

The shooter fled the scene, police aid.

The reason behind the bloody feud was not immediately clear, but the victim has an extensive arrest record, sources said.


 The Bronx

■ A hit-and-run motorcyclist deliberately kicked his critically injured teen victim before fleeing, police said.

The 17-year-old boy was crossing the street at Grand Concourse and East 176th Street in Mount Hope on Monday at about 7:30 p.m. when a silver and black motorcycle slammed into him, cops said.

The biker kicked the teen and took off, police said.

The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.

The suspect has not been found and a description has not been released.

■ An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old Soundview man in May, cops said on Wednesday.

Van Brooks, 24, of The Bronx, was charged with Xavier Logan’s murder after a two-month investigation, according to police.

The victim was found with gunshot wounds to the head and chest at 1183 Castle Hill Ave. in the early morning on May 11, cops said.

Logan was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Brooks was arrested Wednesday afternoon at a friend’s house, police said.

Investigators are still looking for a female in her late teens or early 20s who is wanted for questioning.


 Staten Island

■ A maniac pulled a gun on his fiancée and her relative in Mariner’s Harbor, authorities said.

Carlik Jones, 31, pulled a black firearm on his 36-year-old bride-to-be during a heated argument inside the home on Harbor Road near Leyden Avenue on Monday at about 4:30 p.m., a Criminal Court complaint states.

He allegedly shouted, “I ain’t no ­p- - -y . . . don’t mess with me. The streets know me!”

He was charged with menacing and harassment.
