Adorable koala gets stuck under a fence

A wayward koala got stuck down under — a fence.

This adorable little critter poked its head and an arm through a hole, at the bottom of a metal fence in Adelaide Hills, Australia, the Daily Mail reported.

Luckily for the inquisitive marsupial, homeowners Chris and Alicia Alexandria are big koala lovers and knew exactly what to do.

Chris Alexandria used a power drill to partially dismantle the fence, loosening it just enough so the koala was able to break free. It made a mad dash back to more comfortable surroundings, up in a nearby eucalyptus tree.

“I inspected the koala and she had no visible injuries,” said Alicia Alexandria, who writes a blog about her regular koala encounters. “Later in the day she had found a gum tree and was eating leaves.”
