For the New York premiere of “Frank,” Gyllenhaal donned a simple Derek Lam dress with elegant ruffle detail offset with burgundy Valentino pumps.

The actress’ consistent sartorial serenity is a welcomed respite from those of Hollywood’s more garish stars.

Olivia Palermo

For Palermo, dressing well is a lifestyle. When others saunter the streets of Soho in gym shorts, she steps out in a crisp Ann Taylor shirt, vintage leather calf-length skirt and Aquazzura heels.

Finally, Western done well and inoffensively! Even the water bottle looks glamorous.

Taking a break from high-slits and plunging necklines, Gomez slipped into a striped Kalen turtleneck and skinny jeans to bounce around LA.

Finished with slick hair and circular shades, this mod moment is simple and polished and entirely on point — even if evocative of “Beetlejuice.”

For her turn down the red carpet at the “What If” NYC premiere, Kazan picked a black Miu Miu embellished top, A-line skirt and captoe shoes.

The actress looks charming and casual, and not the least bit thirsty. It’s a superb example of why every young star should consider eschewing look-at-me-heels for flats.

Do we even need to say she wore this to the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” LA premiere?

No — because the T-shirt the 16-year-old ripped into an off-the-shoulder top is telling us all we need to know, while the skin-tight micromini is about to show more than we’d ever need to see.

Emmanuelle Chriqui

In LA, there’s a brand called For Love & Lemons that hosts an annual “Skivvies party,” because apparently Los Angelenos need more occasions to look skanky.

Anyhow, this Canadian actress could have stopped with the night dress, but decided the award for least sexy outfit would be lost without a hat, cowboy boots and a bangle.

LaLa Anthony

It’s sad when you start giving celebs credit for not looking as bad as you’ve seen them before, but that’s where LaLa fits in the fashion registry.

That said, the woman herself looks fine; it’s the lemony lace sheer-paneled tablecloth that’s making us squint. But maybe they thought it was cute at the Market America International Convention in Greensboro, N.C.

Rose McGowan

At the LA premiere of “About Alex,” McGowan showed up looking great . . . for Liza Minnelli.
