Illusionist Penn Jillette is ditching magic tricks for the great outdoors.
Jillette has signed on to host a new clip show for the Sportsman Channel called “Camp Stew” (the title is a reference to the popular hunter’s meal comprised of a mishmash of ingredients).
Each of the 10 half-hour episodes will showcase some of the craziest outdoor videos ever recorded, along with Jillette’s commentary. Clips will include footage involving “Girls and Guns,” “Backyard Rambos,” “Wild Hunts and Cold Outdoors,” “Outdoor Pranks” and “Unreal Shots.”
The show is produced by Pilgrim Studios (“Wicked Tuna”), with Craig Piligian, Jake Shelton and Brett Boydstun serving as executive producers.
“Camp Stew” premieres on Thursday, July 17 at 8:30 p.m.
