Cowboys fan club booted by bar for cursing out Romo too much

Tony Romo’s blunders harm Cowboys fans beyond wins and losses.

The group Dallas Cowboys Fans in Chicago will have to find a new sports bar to watch their beloved team disappoint them. According to DNAinfo in Chicago, Brownstone Tavern has discouraged them from congregating there on Sundays after a rowdy fan said, “[Expletive] you, Romo,” in the presence of children.

While Cowboys fans can still visit the bar, the audio from Cowboys games will not be piped in, essentially sending a message to die-hard Dallas fans to watch another .500 season elsewhere.

DCFC president Marc Hochmuth said the estimated 50-150 Cowboys supporters will move their operation a mile up the road to Commonwealth Tavern. Hochmuth still holds a grudge.

“We’re going to trash them every chance we get now,” he said, referring to the bar, not Romo. “We don’t want them to make another nickel.”

Hochmuth said Dallas fans weren’t the only ones cursing their quarterback: Bears fans cussed out Jay Cutler as well.

“I heard more than enough expletives from Bears fans,” he said.

At least Cowboys and Bears fans in Chicago can agree on something – neither likes their quarterback very much.
