Koko the gorilla ‘crying’ over Williams’ death

Even Koko the gorilla has commented on Robin Williams’ death — telling her trainers that she is “crying” over the tragic news.

The famous primate, known for her ability to communicate in sign language, was a friend of Williams. The two met in 2001 and filmed a public service announcement for the Gorilla Foundation in 2004.

After hearing her trainers discussing Williams’ death, Koko signed her word for “cry” and “woman.”

Koko looked “quiet” and “very thoughtful” after getting the news.

And at the end of the day, Koko acted “very somber,” the foundation said.
