Woman nabbed after ‘mistakenly’ swiping gadgets at airport

A sticky-fingered woman who swiped an iPad and iPhone before boarding a plane from Miami to New York City on Monday couldn’t escape the long arm of the law, sources said.

Maria Ubolini Gonazalez was busted with the illicit goodies after getting off an American Airlines jet at La Guardia Airport about noon, law-enforcement sources said.

Port Authority cops made the arrest after getting a call from Miami Dade cops alerting them to the thief, sources said.

The Uruguyan woman had been caught on video surveillance in Miami stealing the Apple products before boarding the New York-bound flight, prompting local cops there to alert New York, sources said.

After Gonzalez was taken in for questioning in New York, the PAPD cops found the Apple products in her small carry-on purse, sources said. She was promptly charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

Sources said Gonzalez tried to argue that she mistakenly picked up the items.

She also faces potential larceny charges in Florida over the incident, sources said.
