Mom charged for abandoning child on street corner

Cops arrested a Manhattan woman on Monday and charged her with felony child abandonment after police say she ditched her 8-year-old son on an Upper East Side street corner.

Natasha Harrow, 35, is being held on $3500 bail at the Rose M. Singer Correctional Center on Rikers Island after cops say she abandoned her son Elijah on the corner of 86th Street and 1st Avenue on the evening of July 22.

Court documents state he had only $4 on him.

A Good Samaritan noticed the child standing at corner just before 10 p.m. and notified police. The mom was long gone, cops said.

Harrow was arrested two weeks later when police caught up to her at her nearby East 93rd Street apartment.

Elijah’s grandmother is currently caring for him in her Brooklyn home.

Harrow is due back in court Friday, according to court documents.
