Museum features largest Bruce Springsteen exhibit — online

If you can’t make it down the Jersey shore for the holiday weekend, perhaps the next best thing could be a cyber-trip to BlindedByTheLight.com, an online museum that features the largest Bruce Springsteen exhibit ever collected.

The webseum — founded by Michael Crane — just launched in commemoration of the 30th-anniversary release date of “Born in the USA” — the most successful recording in Springsteen’s career.

Some of the items on digital display include:

  • Bruce’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air in which he wrote the album “Born To Run.”
  • An early address book with phone numbers of bandmates along with lyrics to “Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?”
  • A rare photo from 1972 of Springsteen and his father dressed up as “Cisco Kid” and “Pancho” taken in Tijuana, Mexico.
  • His 8th-grade report card from St. Rose of Lima Catholic School (with a surprisingly low mark in music).

An “All-Access” monthly subscription charge is $9.99.
