The fedora wearing thief pictured above burglarized two Madison Avenue designer stores on the Upper East Side within minutes, authorities said.

The suspect was caught on video surveillance early Monday walking in through a side door at ­Roberto Cavalli at East 63rd Street at 12:10 a.m., according to police.

He collected $270 from a register and fled, cops said. Just 15 minutes later, he entered the neighboring luxury-goods store Berluti, where he was seen on video hauling off leather merchandise.

Also, he snatched a $20 bill he found in a register, cops said.


Two thieves pulled a fast one on an elderly woman when they snatched her purse at a Harlem bus stop, police sources said.

The 71-year-old victim was waiting at West 125th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard Thursday when the two suspects, possibly transgendered, asked if she needed help, police said.

They then swiped her purse and fled west on 125th Street toward St. Nicholas Avenue, cops said. The purse contained $1,200, the woman said.

Queens

Cops arrested two men in the attempted rape of a woman in Ridgewood, ­authorities said.

Franclin Velasquez, 21, and a pal, Jorge Maldonado, 28, allegedly cornered the 18-year-old woman at Putnam and Seneca avenues at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.

Velasquez, of Brooklyn, allegedly punched her in the head while Maldonado, of The Bronx, allegedly covered her mouth and tried to snatch her purse, cops said.

Velasquez then tried to rape her but a passer-by approached and the suspects fled empty-handed, cops said.

The two were charged with sexual abuse, assault and attempted rape, cops said.


Police are searching for a gunman who threatened to shoot two automobile passengers in Corona.

The suspect, believed to be in his 20s, approached the duo in a car at Horace Harding Expressway and 97th Street at 12:20 a.m. Thursday, cops said.

The thug pulled a pistol and said “Don’t f–k with me or I’ll smoke you,” just as a detective in an ­unmarked vehicle drove up to the scene.

The officer drew her weapon and told the suspect to drop the gun, police sources said, but he fled toward the Lefrak City housing complex.

The suspect is believed to be about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with an Afro-type hairstyle, cops said.

The two victims were unharmed in the incident, cops said.

Brooklyn

Three men were shot on a Flatbush street, cops said.

The trio, ages 22, 25 and 26, were in front of an apartment building at Martense Street and Bedford Avenue when an unidentified suspect opened fire at about 6 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

The three suffered non-life-threatening wounds, cops said, and were being treated at Kings County Hospital.

Police are looking for a man who fled in a four-door sedan, who may have been the shooter, cops said.
