Liquor raises concerns for luxury helicopter experience

The executives at the Hamptons helicopter service Blade have been monitoring local chatter to make sure they’re not causing a commotion in the skies.

But instead of noise complaints, one speaker at an East Hampton Board meeting showed up with other concerns. “It’s strange, and of concern, that liquor is part of this helicopter experience.”

Blade serves customers a glass of rosé or water during their half-hour ride out East.

Last week, the Blade lounge air-lifted hip-hop marketing star Steve Stoute and real-estate mogul Don Peebles out to the end of the island.
