Man who threatened Strahan rants about the Illuminati in court

The knife-wielding bum accused of threatening to kill Giants football great -turned-TV star Michael Strahan outside ABC’s studios in Times Square earlier this month demanded a new lawyer during a nutty outburst Monday in Manhattan court.

“I want a new lawyer! I want a new lawyer!” ranted Andre Johnson.

“This lawyer is part of the Illuminati!” the 25-year-old loon said, making reference to a mysterious secret society that some believe subversively control world affairs at his arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court.

“Take pictures! We want photos!” he demanded after Justice Laura Ward barred photographers from shooting him. “Where’s the media? There’s a war against me. Obama was elected to defend us.”

The judge tried to get the hulking defendant to stop talking. “Anything you say can be used against…”

“I graduated high school! I graduated high school! I want another lawyer!” he interjected.

She even tried to use a time-out signal with her hands but to no avail.

“I’m issuing a 730 exam,” declared the judge, ordering a mental competency test.

“That’s some bulls–t n—-r!” he replied.

The burly madman, sporting a beard and grey sweat, faces three counts of attempted assault.

Johnson was busted July 1st after showing up outside the studio where Strahan cohosts the morning talk show “Live with Kelly and Michael” and pulled a serrated kitchen knife on a security guard.

A cop intervened and knocked the blade from his hand. “I was there to kill Michael Strahan,” he told cops after his arrest, according to court papers.”They control my mind. They make me want to kill (Michael Strahan) with a 2.5 knife I brought from Kmart.”

Strahan played defensive end for the Giants for 15 years, ending his career following Big Blue’s Super Bowl XLII victory over the Patriots in 2008.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year.
