The J. R. R. Tolkien movies will finally come to an end this December with the release of the last movie in “The Hobbit” trilogy, “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.”
In the first teaser trailer for the fantasy closer, released Monday, Bilbo Baggins and the gang have taken their homeland back from the evil dragon Smaug, but the trouble is far from over.
“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” hits theaters December 17.
